Frankie Pierce Park

Named after the late and influential Black suffrage movement leader Juno Frankie (Seay) Pierce, Frankie Pierce Park is the largest public green space in the area and a vital segment of the City Central Greenway System around the urban core, connecting neighborhoods, schools, parks, and commercial districts. Located within 1,500 feet of the State Capitol, it's completing a link in the system and connecting Capitol View to a system of over 190 miles of biking and running trails throughout Davidson County that includes a children’s playground, dog park, yoga lawn, sand volleyball court, and lots of room for other outdoor activities.
