Rainbow Mural

Artwork by Kelsey Montague, creator of the Gulch “What Lifts You” wings mural. 

This piece is designed to be interactive – inviting viewers to have fun with it, snapping photos and selfies. Montague used themes common in her work, depicting a rainbow that gradually develops into flowers then a flock of birds. 

“Rainbows, to me, have a spiritual component and mean there will come a day when this pandemic no longer haunts us – a new beginning is coming. We just need to hang on,” Montague said.

Created to instill hope and give thanks to the front-line workers during the pandemic for their sacrifices, the rainbow mural located by Publix is a bright spot to all who pass by.
