Two Detroit-based restaurants will be added to Capitol View’s roster in January 2023, according to a press release.
Both owned by Joe Vicari Restaurant Group, Joe Muer Seafood and Andiamo Presto will have separate spaces at 500 11th Ave.
Joe Muer has been an upscale Detroit staple since 1929 and offers aged meats and chicken dishes alongside its seafood. Andiamo Presto offers guests handmade pastas, soups and salads in a more casual environment.
“It’s a big step; but we are excited to be doing so in Nashville, which has shown extraordinary growth over the years and has the demographics to support the concepts for our restaurant brands. Capitol View checked all the boxes of downtown access with a true neighborhood feeling,” said Joe Vicari, president of the Joe Vicari Restaurant Group, in the release.
Family-owned Joe Vicari Restaurant Group has accumulated a portfolio of ten concepts — which employ more than 1,100 people – and is headquartered in Warren, Michigan.
The Capitol View expansion marks its first Tennessee venture.
The 32-acre urban district developed by Boyle Investment Company is already home to both Nashville-based and out-of-town dining options including M.L. Rose, Condado Tacos, Central BBQ and Pokeworks.
“The combination of classic Nashville staples and highly successful brands from other markets opening their first locations in Nashville makes the Capitol View project unique,” said Mark Taylor, partner at Boyle Investment Company, in the release.
