NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Sept. 18, 2018) – Jón Alan Salons, a family-owned group of Aveda lifestyle and concept salons with three locations throughout Middle Tennessee, is set to open its fourth location in mixed-use urban district Capitol View in late October.
The new space will feature a six-chair salon, aesthetics room for facials, waxing, micro-needling and other advanced skincare, and state-of-the-art LED technology. Stylists from other Jón Alan Salons locations will be joining the team at Capitol View, including the company’s two internationally recognized creative directors, who represented the U.S. at the 2017 World Congress of Hair in Japan.
“This salon is the most state-of-the-art project we have ever worked on, and we’re proud to bring it to Capitol View,” said Alan Snetman, co-owner of Jón Alan Salons. “We look forward to offering our downtown clients a big-city feel, cutting-edge technology and the best services at our Capitol View location.”
Jón Alan Salons will join a number of retailers and restaurants that are already open at Capitol View, including Pinnacle Financial Partners, the LifeWay Christian Store, M.L.Rose, Your Pie, Starbucks and SVM Boutique. The Residences at Capitol View, a 378-unit multifamily luxury residential community, is pre-leasing now and is slated to welcome its first residents in early October. Other retailers are coming soon, including Valerie Boutique set to open in December.
“The growth of Capitol View and the caliber of our commercial tenants speak for themselves,” said Jeff Haynes, partner of Boyle Investment Company and developer of Capitol View. “This is Nashville’s first all-encompassing downtown living district, and we’re proud to welcome well-established retailers like Jón Alan Salons to our community.”
Jón Alan Salons is the only salon in Middle Tennessee that is a member of Intercoiffure, the most influential organization in the hair dressing industry. The newest location at Capitol View will be open Monday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
“This project has been on our drawing board for five years now,” said Jón Snetman, co-owner of Jón Alan Salons. “We have loved being tenants of Boyle at the Meridian Cool Springs mixed-use development for a decade, and we’ve had our hat in the ring for a salon at Capitol View since its inception. We’re excited to bring our vision for this space to life and serve clients in a state-of-the-art facility downtown.”
